We
have six program
areas that require funding.
Includes
food and meal supply purchases, staffing, vehicle upkeep, and
program expenses.
Our
multimedia presentation to schools, businesses, civic and faith
based organizations on poverty, hunger, homelessness, discrimination
awareness and community service has inspired thousands of students and
adults to actively participate in the good stuff of this world. To

Each
year it is our
goal to deliver 2000 new sleeping bags to those who
live without shelter. These are life saving pieces of equipment during
our unpredictable northwest winters.
Our
twice a year
newsletter "Loaves and Fishes" which keeps interested
parties updated on all the latest OSL news.
- The MATHER EMERGENCY
AND
EDUCATION FUND:
This
fund is named
after long time dedicated volunteers, Fran and Jim
Mather, who have devoted many years to OPERATION: Sack Lunch. The
MATHER FUND is used for emergency housing, job training and other
education opportunities, and medical emergencies for the homeless.
